We offer two full-size professional mobile CCTV towers — a heavier road-legal trailer-mounted unit and a lighter castor-wheel unit that can be manoeuvred by hand. Both are solar powered, both are monitored 24/7 and both are suitable for deployment anywhere in the UK.
Our larger unit is mounted on a road-legal trailer, making it exceptionally easy to deliver to site and reposition as your build progresses. Tow it to exactly where it's needed — no crane, no specialist equipment required. The trailer base gives it a sturdy, low-profile footprint and it can be towed by any standard tow vehicle. This is the most popular unit for larger sites and open groundworks where the tower needs to cover a wide area and may need to move as construction advances.
Our lighter unit is mounted on heavy-duty castor wheels and can be pulled into position by hand — no tow vehicle needed. Once in position, the stabilising support legs are screwed down to lock the tower in place and prevent any movement. It's a physically smaller and lighter unit, which makes it ideal for tighter sites, enclosed compounds or situations where you need to reposition regularly without the need for a vehicle. A slightly lower weekly rate makes this the better choice for budget-conscious sites that still need a full-size tower.
If budget is tight but you still need solar-powered cameras with no mains connection, we have a third option — a more basic unit consisting of a few cameras mounted on a prefabricated metal post, with a couple of solar panels attached nearby. Each unit comes with 800W of solar capacity and a battery which the panels keep continuously charged, giving you reliable year-round power without any mains connection.
We'll be straight with you — it's not as polished or as tall as our full-size towers, and it won't give you the same commanding field of view from height. But it does the job. It records continuously, it's monitored 24/7 by our team, it has a tannoy speaker and it comes with the same live view app. If you need solar-powered cameras on a tight budget, this unit can save you £20–£40 per week compared to our standard towers — and it genuinely works.
